Spacious, comfortable cottage at the seaside in Brora for the sound of the sea, walks, wildlife, beautiful beaches, golf  and much more!

Ataireachd Ard means the surge of the sea and the cottage has magnificent views over the sea, river and hills beyond. Sunrises and sunsets are spectacular. The cottage enjoys all the benefits of a village location with plenty to occupy visitors both locally and further afield. There are easy walks around the harbour and town, beach walks beside the golf links and to Golspie (passing a Broch and Dunrobin Castle). For the more energetic, a short drive will take visitors to many of our northern mountains. The front garden of the cottage is an excellent vantage point for the many sea birds which visit the shore and river; seals and otters can also be seen from here. Sports enthusiasts can choose from tennis, bowling, swimming (Marine Hotel or Golspie), loch and river fishing, cycling and mountain biking. Alternatively play the world famous James Braid 18 hole golf course which stretches far along the sandy beach to the north of the cottage or watch Brora Rangers on a Saturday afternoon.

Comfortable accommodation

The cottage is very roomy and sleeps 7 (plus babies); pets are negotiable. There are night-storage heaters throughout and additional electric heaters and a coal fire for cosy evenings. There is a landline telephone and broadband internet access with WiFi.

Downstairs there is a modern fully-equipped kitchen with dishwasher and washer/drier, dining room with wood floor, sitting room with open fire and smart TV (freeview channels and internet) and bathroom with electric shower and bath.  Upstairs there are 3 bright bedrooms, a kingsize bedroom with en-suite shower room and toilet, a double bedroom and a triple bedroom with three single beds.

Outside there is a sunny walled garden to the rear with grass and a paved area with barbeque. The large garden at the front overlooks the sea and River Brora, providing an ideal picnic spot for warm summer days.
